Eligibility

Four things Medicare looks at.

Under a Doctor’s Care

The patient is under the care of a physician who sets and regularly reviews a plan of care.

Certified Homebound Status

Leaving home takes considerable effort, and is generally limited to medical appointments or infrequent short trips.

Skilled Care Is Needed

The plan of care requires intermittent skilled nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, or continued occupational therapy.

A Medicare Certified Agency

Care is delivered by an agency, like Astro, that is Medicare Certified to provide these services.
